PARACLETE ATHLETIC NEWS
Fall sports are well on their way. Volleyball, football and boys and girls cross country have already started. It is imperative that all 4 sports get an early start since CIF pushed the start date for all the sports up a couple of weeks. The first football game is August 17th. The first volleyball game is August 14thand the first cross country meet is set for Sept. 11that this time.
Footballis on their dead period right now but they will begin practice on Monday, July 30that 3:00. If your son (or daughter) wants to participate in football, they should be at that practice. Volleyballhas been practicing and will continue this week. I believe we have reached out to all of the current students about playing but if you have changed your mind and are now interested, you should e-mail Mike Kelly right away at email@example.com
If you have an incoming freshman daughter who has not been to the camp or any other practices and wishes to participate, practices this week are Tuesday – Thursday from 3:00-4:30. Here is the remainder of the practice schedule until we start school:
If you are interested inCross Country, they have been running in the am. They begin their workouts at 6:00 on the senior lawn (north side of the campus). If you have any questions, you can also contact the head coach Andy Helme firstname.lastname@example.org
As far as the other sports, once we begin school, have your son or daughter listen to the daily announcements. If they will have a team meeting, it will be announce usually a couple of days in advance of the meeting. This meeting will give you all the information needed to participate.
REMEMBER: YOU WILL NEED A CURRENT PHYSICAL ON FILE IN THE MAIN OFFICE TO TRYOUT OR PLAY ON A SCHOOL TEAM. YOU MAY PICK UP A PHYSICAL PACKET IN THE OFFICE.
