Fall sports are well on their way. Volleyball, football and boys and girls cross country have already started. It is imperative that all 4 sports get an early start since CIF pushed the start date for all the sports up a couple of weeks.   The first football game is August 17th. The first volleyball game is August 14th and the first cross country meet is set for Sept. 11th at this time.

Football is on their dead period right now but they will begin practice on Monday, July 30th at 3:00. If your son (or daughter) wants to participate in football, they should be at that practice. If you can’t make it but are interested, you might want to e-mail the head coach and let him know your plans. You can reach Dean Herrington at

Practices will continue all week at 3:00.

Volleyball has been practicing and will continue this week. I believe we have reached out to all of the current students about playing but if you have changed your mind and are now interested, you should e-mail Mike Kelly right away at

If you have an incoming freshman daughter who has not been to the camp or any other practices and wishes to participate, practices this week are Tuesday – Thursday from 3:00-4:30. Here is the remainder of the practice schedule until we start school:

  • July 31st and August 2nd – 10:00-12:00
  • August 9th 3:30 – 5:00
  • August 10th 1:30 – 3:00
  • August 13th 1:30 – 3:00

You can contact Mr. Kelley or Ms. Neill if you have any questions

If you are interested in Cross Country, they have been running in the am. They begin their workouts at 6:00 on the senior lawn (north side of the campus). If you have any questions, you can also contact the head coach Andy Helme at

As far as the other sports, once we begin school, have your son or daughter listen to the daily announcements. If they will have a team meeting, it will be announce usually a couple of days in advance of the meeting. This meeting will give you all the information needed to participate.

If you have any questions you may contact the Athletic Director, Margaret Neill, at
